We (David & Kathi) have Collectible Used Books. Birchbark Books is located on the shores of Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin nestled in a wooded site that includes the beautiful Birch trees that are so prevalent in this locale. These Birch trees, made famous by well-known area watercolor artist Art Bloomquist (David's father), were the inspiration for our choice of Birchbark as our online bookstore name, to honor the Artist's unique portrayal of the peeling birchbark and to his memory.
We also have the
Bloomquist Gallery (we are both artists as well) and though the bookshop is online only, the Gallery is open May 15 through October or first sticking snow (whichever occurs first), and you're welcome to stop
by and chat books or art or music or philosophy.
We will be adding new inventory every
week so please stop back and browse often. You will find a wide variety of subject
matter.

Returns Policy: 21 days with prior notification
Shipping: Priority Mail $5.50 up to 2 lbs. $1.00 each add'l pound. Media Mail $3.50.
Priority Mail recommended for books valued at $50 and over.
Internat'l at cost.Please inquire.
Wisconsin Residents please add 5.5% Sales Tax.
